I booked two trips with Taxi For Sure for 5 May. For almost the same trip (outward trip had about 3-5km longer via VK, return trip had about 1.5km extra due to driver error), the outward and inward trips were billed at 72 and 49km respectively. During return trip, the taxi’s odo and the app and my GPS track (started 1.5km late) agreed well. How can the same trip result in a 50% higher bill in the morning?
I asked TFS for the GPS track and for about 13 hours, Taxi For sure wants to SPEAK to me? To do what? Sing me lullabies? Then their twitter account throws in crap like “confidential info cannot be shared”? What?! MY trip GPS track is confidential from me?! LOLWut?!
In contrast, for a similar request, I got a resolution / refund from Uber Brisbane before 830am for a query posted at midnight.

On April 18, I had another similar episode when I was overbilled by Ola Cabs. Here’s the google maps estimate of the route and the Ola invoice. GMaps says 28.3km. Even if you assume some zig zagging – add 10%. 50% overbilling? Someone please tell me how this is possible.
I don’t care much about the money (I want it back of course) but I want an acknowledgement of their fault and awareness of this malpractice among folks.
